As Bethlehem becomes more bogged down with worldly influences, we decided to overpower that turmoil with worship, literally. Let me introduce you to HLM Worship Generation! We've taken the kids of Bethlehem off the streets, away from idle living, and we've planted them into our newest ministry initiative. HLM Worship Generation is a worship-training program for the youth of Bethlehem.
Your gifts have helped us fund guitars, keyboards, drum sets, microphones, and teachers! We've seen our local leadership team also rise to the challenges of music teachers and ministry leaders. The young people in our congregation have also committed to learning in this new program. What we are seeing is the emergence of a whole new breed of youth, growing in their love for the Lord, as they grow in learning how to play an instrument and sing praises.
Did I mention Khader? Khader was a young boy from Gaza that found refuge in our church over ten years ago. Today, he knows over thirteen musical instruments and is the director of our HLM Worship Generation initiative. It's been such a blessing to see him grow!
